A Space for Connection
A Vision Rooted in Healing
Joanne and Billy fell in love with this land the very first time they saw it. Within its almost seven acres of private woodland, they envisioned creating a place where people could rest, heal, and reconnect with nature.
A Vision Rooted in Healing
Elemental Cabins and Retreat grew from Joanne’s own journey of recovery and renewal. What began as a dream to create space for rest and restoration has become a sanctuary where others can heal, reflect, and reconnect with nature.
A Love for the Land
When Joanne and Billy first walked through Westbarr Wood, they felt its quiet magic, a place alive with energy and peace. They knew instantly it was meant to be shared, a woodland home for calm and community.
Created with Purpose
Every element of the retreat has been designed to live gently on the earth. From solar power and natural water systems to handcrafted eco-cabins, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.
A Space for Connection
Built for teachers, healers, and community groups, Elemental is more than a retreat, it’s a gathering place for learning, creativity, and shared wellbeing, where people can truly come together in nature.
A Love for the Land
From this vision, four eco-friendly cabins are being created, private, welcoming, and homely spaces designed to offer calm and comfort. These cabins are available to rent for those who want time away to recharge, immerse in nature, and enjoy the peaceful energy of the woodland.
Alongside the cabins, the retreat will include a management building and a dedicated wellness space. The retreat itself will feature a 30-foot yurt for larger gatherings, a 16-foot facilitator yurt, and a third facilitator yurt to be added, providing flexible spaces for workshops, teaching, and community events.
